Registration

Register for the Glee Club’s 150th celebration through Cornell University’s Reunion website at https://cornell.reunioniq.com/

  • Click “Register Now” under Undergraduate and Special Interest Reunions.
  • When asked for your Registration Group during the process, select “Glee Club 150th Anniversary.”

If you previously RSVPed that you planned to attend the Glee Club’s events, you still need to officially register now.

While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly encourage advance registration.

Check-in

The Glee Club will have a registration table at its events for alumni to receive a special name badge, souvenir lapel pin, weekend schedule, and tickets for the Friday concert. Glee Club merchandise will also be on sale. Attendees should ALSO check-in at the Glee Club headquarters at Sheldon Court in Collegetown to receive their Cornell Reunion button, which provides access to university events.

Weekend Attire

Reunion weekend at Cornell is a casual event, so dress comfortably for rehearsals and meals. Below is recommended attire for the various performances.
Friday Sokol Remembrance Service: business casual (Glee Club ties encouraged)
Friday Concert: dark jacket, suit, or tuxedo (students will be in tuxedos, but we don’t expect alumni to bring them)
Saturday Cornelliana Night: casual (Cornell garb or red and white attire recommended)

Concert Tickets

Concert tickets for guests and spouses registered with the Glee Club can be picked up at any of the Glee Club events throughout the weekend. For non-registrants, tickets can be purchased at the door or at baileytickets.com.

Concert Music

For a list of music being performed, as well as advance copies of the sheet music, click here.

Cornelliana Night

Due to the popularity of this annual tradition and stage capacity limits, admission to Cornelliana Night will require a ticket this year, for performers AND audience members.
For those singing in Cornelliana Night: The Glee Club will distribute 130 tickets for performers to sit on stage, plus an additional 100 tickets for performers to sit in the stage left and stage right mezzanine seats. Priority will be given to alumni in their Reunion year. These tickets will be distributed at the Glee Club rehearsals and events on Thursday and Friday. Once all the performer tickets are distributed, everyone else will have to pick up audience tickets.
For Cornelliana Night audience members: Tickets are free and available for pick up on Thursday, Friday, Saturday until 6:00 p.m. at the Reunion Information Center at Statler Hall Tsai Family Atrium until they are gone. To accommodate overflow, Cornelliana Night will be livestreamed on a large screen at our satellite location at the David L. Call Alumni Auditorium, Kennedy Hall.

Glee Club Alumni Board Meeting – open to all!

All Glee Club alumni are welcome to join us for a discussion of the Glee Club’s future, facilitated by board chair Bryce Hall ’99 and president Jack Liufu ’21. This meeting is Saturday morning, 10:00-11:00 a.m., at 132 Goldwin Smith Hall. Interested in getting more involved? Join us!

Cost

The Glee Club Alumni Association is heavily subsidizing our 150th events to help keep the cost low. The full weekend costs $200 per adult (discounted to $100 for young alumni in the Classes of 2009 to 2018) or $50 for children under 15.

Housing is an additional cost (see below). Refunds are available for cancellations before May 23.

Housing

Housing is available for the Glee Club in Sheldon Court and Cascadilla residence halls. Cost per adult is $82/night or $201 for all three nights.

Many rooms have two beds, so we encourage you to make arrangements to share with a friend or classmate. Housing registration is part of the overall registration process through the Cornell Reunion website.

Check-in begins Thursday at noon, and everyone must check out by noon Sunday.

The university provides bath towels, bed linens, pillows, and a daily towel exchange. You’ll want to bring your own hair dryer and iron. And please remember that our residence halls do not have air-conditioning in the guest rooms. Bring your own fan in case of warm weather. There is no charge for children who do not need a bed (sleep in porta-crib, on the floor, etc.) and stay in a parent’s room.

If there are people you would like to be near, please put their names in the request portion of the housing section while registering online. They must also request to room near you. Although we will try to make accommodations when possible, there is no guarantee.

A limited number of rooms in several hotels has been blocked for alumni returning to Cornell. Please keep in mind that availability may be limited at this point. Review the hotel information on the Cornell Reunion website, and call your favorite hotel directly for a reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to ask for the Reunion block.

Parking

When arriving for Reunion, guests may pull up into one of the spaces designated for guests staying at Sheldon Court (420 College Ave, Ithaca, NY 14850) to drop luggage off. You will not be able to leave your vehicle parked in this area while you check in.

Parking is available in the attached municipal parking lot for an hourly fee, or at metered spots on the street. Street parking in most of Collegetown is free after 6 p.m. weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Free parking is also available in the Cornell parking lot on Williams Street, down the hill, west of Sheldon Court.

bring your own hair dryer and iron. And please remember that our residence halls do not have air-conditioning in the guest rooms. Bring your own fan in case of warm weather. There is no charge for children who do not need a bed (sleep in porta-crib, on the floor, etc.) and stay in a parent’s room.

Traveling with Children

Children are welcome. Kids 15 and under will be charged $50. 16 and older will be charged at adult rates.

What if it’s also my class year reunion and I want to attend events for my class AND Glee Club?

If you plan to register for Reunion with your class year (or already have registered), it’s still possible to add Glee Club events to your registration. Email Corey at [email protected] to add individual Glee Club events, like the Saturday lunch celebration, to your registration. (A cost is associated with the evening receptions and Saturday celebration, but other events are free.)

To register with your class but be housed with the Glee Club in Sheldon Court (or vice versa), simply indicate your housing preference when selecting housing in the registration form.

All Are Welcome!

Our goal is to welcome back as many Glee Club alumni as possible for these celebrations, and we do not want cost to prevent anyone from attending.

The Club has allocated funding to subsidize cost for anyone, if needed. Please contact Corey at [email protected] or Bryce at [email protected] to coordinate.
